The project “Volunteering for rural development” comes to meet the activities implemented by
ATFPDR in rural communities from Valcea County. During the last 5 years, ATFPDR has been
distinguished by implementing programs for personal development, communication, civic education among young people with reduced opportunities, including young Roma from rural communities in Valcea County.
The specific objectives of the project are:
– Personal and professional development for 8 EVS volunteers who will participate for 12 months at an EVS stage.
– promoting the European Solidarity Corps in rural communities from Valcea County.
– providing both individual and group learning experiences, in a non-formal context.
– the acquisition of entrepreneurial and civic competencies by the 8 EVS volunteers in a non-formal context.
