Using methods and materials on the topic of cultural diversity as part of intercultural education
The project “Using methods and materials on the topic of cultural diversity as part of intercultural education” is a training course that aims new theme strategies regarding the cultural diversity.
During the activities in this project tha participants will learn to use the cultural diversity as an instrument to promote the intercultural education.
The training course will focus on the motivation of new partnerships and to create new projects for youth. .
The activities will be developed in the resort Baile Olanesti(Valcea). The project will involve 30 participants from Romania, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Malta, France, Turkey, Lithuania, Portugal, Latvia, The Netherland and Greece.
The specific objectves of the project are:
- enhancing the paticipants competencies regarding the cultural diversity
- Gaining new competencies in the intercultural education
- Promoting the cultural diversities as an instrument for the intercultural education
- Encourege the local companies to participate in youth projects
- Promoting the non-formal education and the youth participation in projects
- Reinforce the European dimension in the partner organization
- Promoting the youth participantion.
The implementing activities are specific to the training course during 9 days. In these activities 30 young people(participants,trainers,facilitators and supprt persson) will be involved and they will experience non-formal methods used for youth training (workshops, debates, role-play, presentations etc).
The specific objectives are:
- Improving the skills of participants in terms of cultural diversity.
- Skills in intercultural education.
- Promoting cultural diversity as an instrument of intercultural education.
- Encouraging local organizations’ participation in youth projects.
- Promoting non-formal learning methods and youth participation in youth activities.
- Strengthening the European dimension in partner organizations.
