ATFPDR Association has been doing entrepreneurial education activities in rural communities since 2014. The experience gained in implementing these activities, the qualified staff at our disposal urges us to initiate this new volunteer project. By this time, ATFPDR has set up rural clubs of youth in 5 rural communities in Vâlcea county. The 5 clubs were founded in the period 2017-2018 and are currently administered by local volunteers.
ATFPDR has over 7 years of experience in volunteer project management and is a member of
several networks of organizations interested in non-formal education through volunteer activities.
In the short term, the project aims to achieve the following goals:
– providing young participants and local volunteers with clear opportunities to engage in solidarity activities;
– working solidarity and personal development skills for 10 ESC volunteers and 75 other local
volunteers;
– facilitating the transition on the labor market for the 10 ESC volunteers and local volunteers;
– promoting social inclusion among 5 rural communities in Vâlcea County, including rural Roma
communities.
