Volunteer your way to social inclusion and employment! European Solidarity Corp Project.
Between 1 May 2023-30 April 2024,Asociatia de Tineret Raise your Voice will run a new volunteering project who will involved six volunteers from Jordan,Georgia and Turkey.
The specific objectives of the project are:
O1: Achieving by 6 youngsters with lower opportunities social, civic and cultural competencies. All these competencies will be acquired through the implementation of solidarity activities, competencies
that will ease their transition from non-formal learning to the labor market and overcoming the difficult situations connected to their reduced opportunities.
O2: Promoting the social entrepreneurship among marginalized young people through solidarity
activities.
O3: Promoting social inclusion and equality among marginalized young people from Roma
communities and young people included in the probation service, in Valcea.
O4: Strengthening the cooperation and exchange of best practices at European level regarding
solidarity activities.
Role and tasks of volunteers:
A1.Co-organizing summer kindergarten.
A2.Co-organising”second chance”activity in roma communities.
A3:Organization of activities to promote human rights, non-discrimination and equal treatment in communities.
A4.Organization of media campaigns to promote a healthy lifestyle, sustainable development. Permaculture gardens will be established in 4 Roma communities and hiking trails will be organized in 6 Roma communities.
A5: Organization of fundraising campaigns for the purchase of educational packages for pupils who will go to grade one.Six non formal workshops in 6 roma communities.( non formal workshops in 6 roma communities,three rural center where will be developed social entrepreneurship workshops: non-formal education workshops, entrepreneurship education workshops where the participants will learn how to create a CV in Europass format, write a motivation letter, search for a job on the eJobs website.)
